FFS Joey - I said that a lot of old people won’t have a mobile, so if they have no other choice than taking a phone service over internet then if there is a power cut and they lose the router they will have no phone.
Do the broadband companies moving people off landlines offer a backup service for wrinklies without mobiles?

It's progress so they say - this week BT announced major cutbacks in the future staff wise ...all ISP providers stopped the 12 month pay up front discount option a while ago - plus the call plans for free calls to new customers
Super speed broadband is all they are interested in ....

She can use a basic mobile so she will have to rely on that. It's annoying how they expect everyone to have Internet, we now get our hospital appointments by phone and you have to log on to open the link with a code, if you not got data you can't see it and I can't do it on my pho e for her S it's patients confidentiality
