No that doesn't happen. Also, when some teams (particularly South American) score a goal the commentators never ever have a 2 minute orgasm over it.

Remember, it's only the English who ever demonstrate patriotic behaviour.

As for the Irish issue. Yes, we all know that it was disgraceful but it's time to move on.

The teams are all playing in Germany. The country that started 2 World Wars and slaughtered 6 million Jews. We've all moved on from that. It's possible.

If the Irish ever got to a tournament I'm sure they'd plot their path too.

It'd be a short one like Scotland tho

Slightly off topic, but the Irish media did that for the Rugby world cup, they were so arrogant themselves think they only had to turn up and win. Also, James Maclean( putting his poltical and religious opinions to oneside) is an arrogant run of the mill no mark.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being confident in you teams abilities.

I have no issue with England plotting their path.

I just wish that path was even vaguely challenging once in a while. This is the third tournament out of four where England have been given something akin to a bye to the semis. I mean, it'll be Slovakia on Sunday, lads. Then possibly Switzerland and Austria. At worst.

It's coming home.
