Skyfall - Second worst Bond after the last one. Although they tried to shake the stank of Quantum, it fails on every level.
Bond - Looking old and tired. Robotic, there is no hint of a Bond who enjoys what he does from time to time. New Bond please.
Locations - Turkey looked so staged, London looked great as usual, Asia - Boring, cool floating abandoned hided out - criminally underused and then not even blowing it up?? Disaster. Bond Down Under. 50 years and he's never been or even mentioned this great bastion of Western Culture? Taking the piss mates.
Bond Girl - Moneypenny? He bones two other chicks who are barely on screen long enough to register. Shocker.
M - Brilliant as usual, but more of her falling out of the system she controlled for so long would have been so much richer.
Q - No gadgets, no jun e se qua, bad hair. Back to Uni, Spotty.
Baddie - Started with that long monologe getting off the lift and walking up to the tied up Bond. Excellent entrance, great facial deformity but thats it. Im bored with so called Super Criminals falling into the easiest of traps. Hit and Miss.
Henchman - Boring. Wheres the claws for hands? Metal teeth? Bored of the well dressed Frenchies with manicured heads.
Ending - Was the best part. Not specifically the scene leading to the credits, but just the end. I didn't have to sit there scratching my eyes out. That they've put the gun barrel shot the end is ridonculous. People get excited when they see that, and it belongs in the opener.
I wanted to see Quantum again just in case I had missed the point, but there wasn't one. For the first time in my life, I don't have any inkling to see this ever again. The blatant Mooching off Gold Finger irked me. Create new Iconography don't just mess with the originals! FFS brocolli will be turning in his grave.
Final thought - The names that used to be associated with Bond made the films with true intent. Saltzman, Broccoli, Michael G Wilson, Guy Hamilton, Tom Mankewisz, Richard Maibaum, Maurice Binder, John Glen.... You knew their names as much as the actors. Theres only only man around today with the skill to put Bond back into the Bond Universe, and thats Martin Campbell.

Bah, nevermind, the bird I'm taking liked the first one, and let's be honest she's probably the only reason I'm going to go watch the movie, I'll put up with an average movie if it pays off.

I enjoyed it, the Flash stuff inspired, but it all turns into Hollywood Fluff by the end. And I thought Wahlberg was mis cast. Too old. Either Jason Schwartzman or Jason Bateman would have nailed it.

I saw Argo last night in the end, which I really enjoyed. It was a great story with a couple of twists and turns and is based on true events. It built up tension brilliantly and there were times I was genuinely biting my nails. One of the best films I've seen in a little while.
