Into the wild, thought it was a great film, seems that it splits opinion though as its quite slow paced; thought Django unchained was a great film aswell

Watched Looper over the weekend. Fairly decent, not something I'd buy but still worth a watch.

edit: Oh just remembered the one thing that bothered me about the film. So the fella from 3rd rock and inception is playing a young Bruce Willis and instead of just letting you get in to the film and believe that fact they tried to alter his face to have similar looks to Willis. It took me out of the story a few times because it just seemed so odd.

I watched it, good film. Did you watch to the end of the credits?

I actually forwarded through the credits to see if anything happened and missed the scene. I looked on IMDB to see if there was something else cos I figured there may have been and then went back and watched it. I'm sure in the trailer it showed some of the fight, or at least him hitting it. I expected an action film to be honest and it was more of a horror. Good film.

I'm guessing you watched that scene? What do you think, better to end when it did, or show the scripted ending?

Watched 3 last night

Chained - Pretty standard serial killer fare - Disappointingly dull (especially seeing as it's directed by David Lynch's daughter)
The Lost Weekend - Classic film about a desperate weekend in the life of an alcoholic - Classic Billy Wilder but not quite as good as Double Indemnity or Sunset Boulevard
Grabbers - Daft but entertaining Irish b-monster movie

Watched 5 over the past 2 weeks:

The Hobbit - Fantastic movie, just as good if not better than the trilogy. 9/10

Gangster Squad - Good movie, bit predictable, but good none the less. 7/10

Django Unchained - Great movie, everything you would expect from a Tarantino movie. 8/10

Zero Down Thirty - Such an interesting movie, alot of people who review it say they don't like it because of the lack of a story line, but they don't understand that its not that type of movie. Its great. 8/10

Les Miserables - Best movie of the lot in my opinion. You go through every emotion watching and the cast it absolutely perfect. 10/10
