Agreed. A fairly bland way to end the series, but entertaining none the less. Really don't understand the Aliens or what that's all about but not as bad as i thought it would be.
Watched The Cider House Rules again last night...really good watch.
Also watched fast and furious 6 .... pretty much the same as the rest of them.

With my grandad on my mind this week with the D Day celebrations I decided to watch Dunkirk, he was at Dunkirk.
It was rather bland, probably the most underwhelming Nolan film I've seen, I really was expecting better, 6/10
The D Day 2 part documentary on BBC2 yesterday was rather boss though, highly recommended.

Two watched this weekend "secrets of a small town" based on atrue story,basically a made for tv film bland, and didnt hold interest at all,followed by " I am mother" on Netflix,half decent but as with most Netflix original stuff,theres a good idea,there scenery is right but they dont quite hit the target,always seem to just miss out on making good ideas great films
I thought - I am Mother, wasn`t too shabby.
Borrowed from a few films inc, Moon and Oblivion.
Didn`t feel like a made for tv film ( for a change ) the young girl in the lead ( Clara Ruggard - Larson ) was very good.
Ending was a bit daft / bit of a let down.
As you say, Netfilx generally haven`t got it right yet with their films, but I`m sure they will.

No I meant the 1st one Secrets of a small town
Like i said "I am mother"wasnt too bad,they just seem to lack a bit with the films, they are polished,the cast are generally decent,the ideas are there, Cargo or Annililhation for example,theres just something missing,maybe the directors just feels like they arent all they could be
It feels like they haven`t yet got the nerve or faith in themselves to go out and spend really serious money on making a very good film.
Maybe the writers aren`t top notch ?
The likes of Will Smith, Hilary Swank, Forest Whittaker, Natalie Portman etc haven`t come cheap though

Yeah Im not sure what it is,maybe the aim is to make OK stuff rather than expand a bit and risk a flop

I really don't like musicals. This might've been a decent film, had they not interrupted the actual story with choreographed dancing and singing all the time. I prefer the way they did it in Bohemian Rhapsody. Elton Johns music is not for me, though I do think the real Elton John has a pretty good voice (better than the actor in this). 4/10
