Last Film You Watched

That Apollo 11 looks ace!

Last night i went to see Reservoir Dogs at FACT, never seen it before on a cinema screen, so that was ace. Always good to see films on the big screen, so much more detail, I think you can really see just how low budget this one was more on a cinema screen, good fun.

It really blew me away, it feels less documentary too as the "narration" is the TV commentary of the time (I think?), no talking-heads sections etc either, it actually felt like a movie.

In a nice little segue i watched possibly the worst film i have ever seen last night.

Tim Roth, Uma Thurman in the lead roles. Maggie Q, Steven Fry, the boobs one from Modern Fsmily.

If you ever have the chance to watch "The Con is on" save yourself 90 odd minutes and avoid.

(Uma Thurman is proper beautiful mind you)

Watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night, really enjoyed it. The Swedish one with Noomi Rapace. Love the way the investigation work was done, great film. Also good to listen to in Swedish with subs rather then dubbed.

Question now if anyone knows the film, are either The Girl Who Played with Fire + The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, any of those two films as good?

Saw Bad Times at the El Royale tonight. I was intrigued by the trailers when they were out. Looked like a Tarantino like film which I generally really like.

For me it didn't disappoint. It was exactly a Tarantinoesque film with a story filling you in just enough to keep you wanting to see what happens next. Multiple timelines and viewpoints of the same action. The best for me it was tied together quite like Tarantino.

No idea why it did so poorly at the box office. I will happily watch it again to see the clues I missed for what happened.

Totally enjoyed it and was caught off guard by it a few times.

I loved it too but it got slated all over the spot on here and reviews.

The second one isn`t bad, but the third is terrible.

Noomi Rapace was made for that role.
