Last Film You Watched

Just watched Bone Tomahawk, very strange indeed.

Best described as a " Western Horror ".

First time I watched it I wasn`t really sure about it, as there long periods where nothing at all happens and then short periods of real shocking stuff.

I re watched it and enjoyed it much more second time around, as it`s a really well put together film, but very odd.

Kurt Russel is very good in it too.

Decent film just strange I think its a bit of a cult film.I also thought it was a bit long as well.

"Climate Hustle" - excellent movie ripping the man made climate doom fantasy with facts

Climate Hustle is a 2016 film rejecting the existence and cause of climate change, narrated by climate change denialist[1] Marc Morano, produced and directed by Christopher Rogers, co-written by Morano and Mick Curran, and funded by the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), a free market pressure group funded by the fossil fuel lobby.

Facts.

watched. Sister brothers. Was decent.

Got mixed reviews this one, but I really enjoyed it :

Message from the King. ( Netflix)

A young South African woman goes missing in L.A. and her brother flies over to try and find her. Uncovering some really bad stuff and goes full on Death Wish.

Cracking cast, in particular Chadwick Boseman in the lead, well acted, dark and brutal. Full on revenge film

Cross between True Romance and Taken.

Type of film that’s easy to overlook but is very good.

I like a good revenge movie, you've sold it to me, this is going on the list.

I liked this - as you say, quite brutal in places, but it really pulls you into its world. Patrick Wilson is good in it, too. If you haven't already seen them, have a look at the director's other two films: Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete.

Edit: forgot to say - I always felt Bone Tomahawk was heavily influenced by the "unfilmable" Blood Meridian.

I’m pretty immune to cinema violence, but that scene in Bone Tomahawk shocked me to my core, and I was thinking about it for days.

Sounds quite interesting. Although for me taken is one of the most overrated films I've ever seen. Some guy beats up a whole criminal gang one by one. Mind numbing stuff.
