Last Film You Watched

Not everyone has though. There are plenty of big name films from further back than Seven (and loads from the last 30 years) I haven't seen because I haven't got round to it.

Maybe I'm not as into movies as you or some others but I think I've got the same right to watch them without having the ending spoiled.

You’ve had plenty of time to “get round to it”. I’ll make sure to spoil more ancient films on here just for you.

Very good looking and decent enough dystopia with a dash of hope sci-fi. Doesn't make a lick of sense but... well it was ok, particularly in light of some of the other dross we watched this weekend including this pointless pile of sludge on Friday:

A film that's utterly devoid of life, reanimated or otherwise.

I was really looking forward to Midnight Sky when I saw the trailer for it. It was alright but o felt a bit let down. All I remember is them making a break for somewhere. I was left so underwhelmed I’ve erased it from my memory. It started off well and went downhill from there

danger close: the battle of long tan. australian made vietnam war film. i'll say no more in case i spoil it ;) alhough i'll say that its a pretty decent war movie, not the best war movie you'll ever see but not the worst either. 7/10

Watched Nomadland. Must say I thought it was very watchable, but strangely underwhelming - although it's hard for any film to blow you away when there's been so much hype. I did really like the closing scene, though. Not your typical Oscar bait, but Oscar bait nonetheless.

Hope no one spoils Pocohontas for me...would hate to find out if the white people eventually took her land and made her people move onto a reservation.
Yeh I heard Jack dying made it into the annals of RMS Titanic. I know you don’t like me but you need to find better ways to complain about my posts. I am not going to adhere to spoilers on a film nearly 30 years old on a thread where most of the posters watch things you’ve got to find on VHS in a library.

The funny thing is you’ve likely seen Se7en before so are whinging for the sake of it. Find something better to do on a Sunday.

For reference here are the Top 10 grossing films from 1995. I wouldn’t expect spoiler alerts on any of them.

I have been watching "Savages" in installments late at night. Good casting with lots of big names--Benicio del Toro and Salma Hayek and Blake Lively--are great, but the film just isn't that good, despite the Don Winslow screen play and Oliver Stone direction. It was acceptable but not compelling, with lots of gratuitous sex at the beginning and tons of gratuitous violence. I finally put together that Blake Lively plays the sister of Jeremy Renner's character in The Town--she is the super sexy one who is pinched by the FBI agent (played by Jon Hamm) in the bar scene, where Hamm's character makes her guess the size/weight of a 20$.

Based on the cast, I had very high expectations for it too.

It all ends up a bit flat and wanders all over the place.

Shame, as it has all the ingredients to be a very good film.

I can see how it happens. I've know people like that in the past. Chat when you see then out and about but that's all. But for everyone to be like that with the same person is tragic.
It is easily done, especially in large transient cities, I always tend to think it would be older people but she was what 38?
