Last Film You Watched

Not a film, but couldn't find (be arsed looking) anywhere else to post it, but I took the missus to see Pretty Woman the Musical last night and it was fantastic.

I was apprehensive as I didn't enjoy my last musical experience years ago (that was Chicago), but I'd recommend it to anyone thinking about taking a loved one to the theatre.

Free Guy. Enjoyed it, yes its basically Tron, Truman Show, Lego Movie and The Matrix thrown into an editing machine but its a lot of fun and good hearted.

Oh, and Lord won't you buy me a Jodie Comer.
Watched this last night. Really enjoyed it. You don't really see many daft silly fun films these days. This was an enjoyable couple of hours. And as for miss Comer. I would happily bore her to tears and disapoint her over a nice meal and glass of something.

No Time To Die

Some spectacular set-pieces in the first 2/3rds but overall could have done with being much shorter. Felt it dragged...

However, that last hour is Bond at its absolute best. One of the most enthralling cinema experiences I've ever had and literally everything you'd want from a Bond film. Quality.

I’ve never been into Bond films since I was about 10 and watching Roger Moore. Don’t get the appeal to be honest. Sorry lads.
Went to see it yesterday with the missus. All cartoonish nonsense isn't it? Bond kills about a million henchmen, all of whom appear to have gone to Stormtrooper shooting school, some vague nonsense about nanobots being used for terrorism as though the screenwriter read Engines of Creation 35 years ago and decided it would be a suitable plot distraction from the "love" story that was shoehorned in.

With the big guns, fast cars, and buffed up Craig it was like a homoerotic love message to over-the-hill blokes everywhere. And the worst thing is that they've done about 20 of these pieces of garbage and they're all exactly the same.

Is that a thumbs up or a thumbs down then ?

Certainly something that should have just ended in the 90's and people could have just forgot about it.
