The Stephen King Sleepwalkers considered one of the worst films of all time? An 8?!Back from the annual local horror movie festival.
This years movies in the order I watched them:
The History of Horror and Metal (documentary) 7/10

Last Night in Soho 2/10
Monster Encounters (short) 7/10
The Night Shift 3/10
The Deep House 6/10
Tropaion (short) 6/10
No Man of God 7/10
Kandisha 8/10
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970) 7/10
Antlers 8/10
The Sadness 9,5/10
Bed (short) 3/10
In the Earth 5/10
The Nicky Nack (short) 6/10
The Night House 7/10
Gaia 7/10
Hysteria (short) 6/10
+ some other shorts I can't remember the names of.
“Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader’s his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that’s what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets."The only one I really enjoyed. I know Star Wars fans don’t like it, but i thought it was the only one to challenge the audience.
Booksssssssssss.Enjoyed Dune, would enjoy it more if part 2 had been confirmed in the works.
Think I'll go read the book instead.

Watched a few over the weekend :
The Trip - Swedish with subs. Ultra black comedy, where a husband and wife drive out for a weekend in the country, to try to kill each other, where it gets very complicated.
Brutal, but good fun.
The Crew : French with subs. Set in Paris, a specialist team of armoured car robbers, end up getting blackmailed into doing a drugs rip off by gangsters.
Flashy, full on and a good cast. Enjoyable if you like films like this.
Same people made the tv series Ganglands, which is pretty much the same as this film.
The Forgotten Battle : A real mix of nationalities- British, Dutch, French and Belgium, so watch with subs.
Based on the true story of how the Dutch resistance rescued the Battle of Arnhem
for the Allies.
A cast of unknowns, who do a good job, great battle scenes, but compared to a lot of war films like this, it suffers as a result of it’s low budget.
Watched all the Underworld films. They're not great, first is the best but that's fairly dated. 2, 3 and 4 are all meh. 4 is very meh. 3 is not worth watching unless you watch it first.
The most recent (Blood Wars) would be the best if not for some ludicrously bad directing at really important moments. I like its story the most out of them all but there are moments when huge revelations are revealed and its just sort of glossed over, instead of focusing on the characters to whom should be having a really emotional event. Its sound direction is shockingly bad too, there's even a really noticeable moment where the same audio sample of Beckinsale's grunt is played twice in succession. And at the end when, bizarre.David tells the lycans to leave, and they just... do?...
Also going to watch it tomorrow, er today, but in 2D because I had free tickets only for 2D. Hopefully don't come to regret it, or if I really like it I might go back for an imax showing.
Loved it. Visually amazing. Like how they seem to jave taken their time woth it. Put character build up and story over action and cheap thrills. Loved it. Visually great and liked how they seem to have taken their time over character building and plot over cheap avtion thrills. Acting and casting on point as well. Yeah the attention to detail was exceptional. If I can control my adhd enough to sit down and read the books I wouldn't be surprised to find if there was very little left out. I went with a friend who has bad taste and it wasn't hollywood enough for him, but I liked it a lot.Loved it. Visually amazing. Like how they seem to jave taken their time woth it. Interestingly, Dune backwards is Nude
Im Hoping to get onto the books soon. Be good if they got a date sorted for the 2nd filmYeah the attention to detail was exceptional. Only complaint was that it was a little hard at times to figure out some of the words they were saying. Sometimes I was left wondering if that was a name they just said, or were they talking in their native language. Reading the books would definitely clear that up.

Worth a couple of marks for Madchen Amick I suppose
Swedish? SWEDISH?
