Last Film You Watched

New Spider-Man 9.8/10

So so glad I managed to avoid any trailers or the billion spoilers going round for this. It had a couple of cheesy parts I’d like them to have skipped but it was quite the spectacle and a lot darker than the previous Spider-Man movies. Highly recommend. Quite emosh.

2 end credit scenes.
Bloody good watch that was! My 3 boys who i took to see it were all mesmerized!!

Yeh I really enjoyed it and I’ve never been a huge fan of Spider-Man films till this trilogy and the original animated show. I almost cheered in the cinema when a certain character showed up near the start haha.
Simular to yourself. Not usually a fan of 'audience participation', all the clapping and cheering in the cinema, but it was certainly justified throughout that film.

Welcome return to form for the MCU after the previous couple of films which didn't quite hit the mark.

Having a look at your profile pic mate... I recently watched Scent of a Woman again.

Some of you might say The Godfather or Scarface, but to me this is Pacino's best performance. He even won the Oscar for it.

He's speech at the end... I'm just gonna leave it here if any of you lads need some words of inspiration.

Someone told me that they're going to bring back Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire and make it like they're from an alternative universe... That's an interesting concept. If true.

lolI wish they’d stop doing this. So weird.
May go see tomorrow.
Me too, I did mental health work with kids and marvel movies normalized their expectations for post credit scenes to extend to all movies, so when even you'd watch a serious dramatic movie about civil rights and such they'd be adamant watching all the credits waiting for an additional scene lol

What was it? Stick it in a PM to me or wrap it in spoiler tags.....

It was when they introduced Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock A.K.A. Daredevil character as Spider- Man’s lawyer. This in the same week we also got Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the Hawkeye Disney+ series. These are both characters from Marvel’s cancelled Netflix series’ which means they now definitely took place inside the MCU and also opens up more characters to be brought in.

Shorta ( Danish with subs )

Two Danish policemen, get trapped in an inner city housing estate, during race riots, following the shooting of an immigrant lad by the police.

Sounds like it’s been done before ?

It has, but not with the depth and intelligence of this film. Raises some touchy moral and political issues, without taking sides.

Great acting from everyone in it, even the young children.
