Last Film You Watched

I must put my hand up and admit I enjoyed this - although I went in with zero expectations. While I didn't like what they did with the Sally Hardesty character (awful performance, too), I thought the gore was good value, and I liked the short running time. In the whole messy and confused franchise, I think it's better than the 3D one and the Jessica Biel one, so it's not the worst in the series. I also thought it was way better than the last Halloween.

Fair dues. I didn’t get anything out of it at all (other than the well done squelchy gore). The Sally Hardesty thing was a complete waste of time, and I was honestly checking my watch after 45 minutes wondering how much more I had to sit through.

I didn’t see Halloween Kills, I heard it was shockingly bad, so will have to be really bored before I get to that one.

Strippers vs Werewolves

A 2011 film which legend has it raked in £38 at the box office... which is £38 too much.
Aside from the novelty of recognising most of the films strip locations, this movie has no redeeming quality even for its supposed tongue in cheek tone.

Nowhere near as good as, say Cockneys vs Zombies.

I wasn’t expecting much , but it fell short. Gutted.

1/10.

That was by no means a good movie but even so was much better than I thought it would be.

Think I'll give Strippers vs Werewolves a miss though.

If you like historical themed movies.
The Courier (Amazon Prime)
Enjoyed this.
Benedict Cumberbatch.
Little know story about a British businessman who was recruited by MI6 to liaise with a KGB Colonel in Moscow and smuggle out secrets in 1960s.

Went to see the Beatles' rooftop concert film last night. Have yet to wade through all ~8hrs of the doc, but it was great seeing that hour or so on the big screen. It looks and sounds incredible - definitely worth doing if you have even the slightest interest.

Scream, really enjoyed it thought there was some great throwbacks-7.1, Texas chainsaw massacre-pretty trash but fine for a bit of fun on a boring weekend midnight-5.4 Ghostbusters afterlife-great fun and nostalgic. I don't have kids but feel like this would be a great family film-7.6
