The greatest film ever made in my opinion, absolutely solid gold awesomeness.

It's not directed by Kubrick though old chum. It was Francis Ford Coppola.

Indeed it is. I'd never seen that actor before but I thought he was brilliant in this.

Rise of the Footsoldier was a great watch too for the people mentioning this.

You might enjoy "A Room For Romeo Brass" too mate. Different kind of film, but same director, and same main actor, only this time he plays an utter psycho rather than a cold calculating killer. You'd probably enjoy it.

I wasn't struck on Foot-Soldier to be honest. I thought it was a right royal cockney barrel of ludicrousness. True story or not..

Fantastic film. I agree, they could have really f*cked it up, but it exceeded my expectations. James Franco is boss.
