Really enjoyed it even though I knew nothing about it and from what I saw it looked like something I wouldn't like.

just watched escape plan, with Stallone, Vinnie jones and Schwartznegger. Was good entertainment, wasnt amazing though. Decent enough action although Stallone as always is talking through a mouthful of rocks

Agreed - enjoyed the first two but it was like they forgot they were meant to be funny.

I enjoyed it too. It was what it was. A typical Arnie Sly movie. If you go in expecting anything else than you're a bit silly.

Watched a film called Tony Manero last night - great film, gloriously fecked up with a nice bit of black humour and also an insight into society at that time (Chile in the 70s). Really enjoyed it.

Just bought some old 70's sci-if stuff that's out on bluray now, a couple I saw as a kid the other two I picked out off one of those top one hundred lists. The Black Hole was a film I remembered watching as a kid but couldn't remember much about it other than the robots, was disappointed to be honest, was made about the same time as Star Wars and Alien but not stood the test of time nearly as well. Same with Silent Running really but to a lesser extent, the storyline was better though. The other films I'm yet to watch are Dark Star and The Last Starfighter.

watched the grand hotel budapest last night. thought it was excellent. almost cartoon like humour and the two main people reminded me of danger mouse and penfold.
