Last Film You Watched

Watched it last night and thought it was brilliant until the end, when it just goes off the scale nuts and totally lost it.

Could`ve done with expanding backstory, with regards to his links to the Satanic secret society a bit more in depth too.

Thought the way it was filmed, as though you were watching a 70`s talk show was fantastic.

Yeah, end goes off the rails, but by that point I had enough good will towards the movie that I just went with it.

The production design of that 70s talk show is spot on, and the tone is perfect for that first hour.

Nice to see that actor in a lead as well. Seen him in a million supporting roles, but thought he was excellent.

I got the feeling that were trying to go a bit '2001: A Space Odyssey' in the end there.

Pretty sure I haven't already posted this but watched the not so much a re-make, but an updated version of Road House.
I'll watch anything with Jake Gyllenhaal in but a bit weak this one.

Revisited Prey for the first time since it came out and it really is a cracking little film - efficient, brutal, gripping, really well made.
It's superb.

Possibly a better story than the original.
Possibly, although 1.30 to 1.40 is kind of the sweet spot for genre films for me, and there's definite potential for another one where Naru deals with the responsibility of being an unexpected leader - lots to mine there with a good screenwriter.
Here's hoping
