….watched a Complete Unknown last night and as a Bob Dylan fan I loved it. So glad I got to see Dylan in concert when he was on sparkling form.

Spoiler: plane

daft as a brush, bad guys with less shooting accuracy than storm troopers, and a fully loaded plane that somehow had no food or water on it and could be rescued from a lightning strike by a store bought capacitor for forty bucks on a remote island off the Philippines or somewhere. Stark raving madness. No back up communications, no emergency signal, no plane tracking, and no satellite surveillance. I reckon nic coppola wrote it when he was in a bad mood. Two aerofoils out of ten.

Tbf, there's a fair bit of wooden acting in it. And Seagal would probably have more sense than to sign up for this tripe.

Took my Daughter to see Snow White. Good God. Spectacular and terrible all at the same time. Don't know how they managed it. Gal Galdot being a bit hc was the only perk.

Not watching it but there's a film called Plane not long started on Channel 4. Anyone know what it's about? Flying? Shaving wood? If it's any good I can catch it from the start on +1

Watched Electric State on Netflix, it was OK, if you like Sci-fi its worth a look

If you cba with a pish poor england game, it's probably the only show in town. Clint grumbles and curses and gruffly gets through one of his funnier roles.

What a film, the scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken the best for me.

Probably my favourite film.

So many great things about it.

The scene you mention, the chemistry between slater and arquette, Brad Pitt playing the best stoner character of all time, Gandolfini showing the first glimpses of Tony soprano, the monologue at the end.

Just perfect.

Hoosiers, a sports movie from 1986. You can see the end a mile away in this underdog makes good story but Gene Hackman is magnetic and the small town basketball scenes are convincingly shot.
