As I appear to be a closet baseball fan, just watched:

"Moneyball"

Utterly cracking movie. Brilliant sports movie, of which there aren't that many.

It probably helps that I'm quite into baseball at the minute and still learning so had no idea that it's essentially a true story.

That's 20 match winning streak was ace and very Everton that they still didn't win anything!

Anyway, great great movie. Brad Pitt is ace. And Jonah Hill is the most understated I've ever seen him in a role.

Highly reccomend this to sports fans.

Couldn't agree more, really enjoyed it. Think the only major difference between the story and reality was the name of the guy Jonah Hill played. Reckon you're being a bit stingy with the belts too.

It really is an excellent movie. People that know nothing about baseball would still enjoy it IMO.

I guess having a basic knowledge of the game would be important. I guess my point was you don't have to be a fan of the game to still like the film. I would agree that my statement was a bit inaccurate.

I thought it was pretty weak.

Saying that im not a fan of the series, but the others had a lot more action I thought, decent enough film like, but as with the others instantly forgettable.

I watched Little Miss Sunshine on a flight home from the States, first time in many years. Forgot how brilliant it is.

watched one called WHITEY, about Boston Irish mob bosses James Bulger trail, documentary type film about his trail and the FBI involvement in his rise.
not the normal he was this and that, more the stuff going on around him that allowed him to do it, and its affect on the family's of his victims . good one for are USA members and those that like a good story about government cover ups.
