Last Film You Watched

I read the Hunger Games and thought it was fun. Haven't watched any of the movies, just figured I wait until they are all released. Also can't really picture Woody Harrelson my fav character in the book.

Just saw Interstellar. Eh solid 6/10. I like long movies but this one really needed editing. Unlike Gravity you aren't missing much watching it at home so its a good rental.

Just watched most of Irreversible. Jeez, not what you need before bed. Was aware of some of the content but it was still worse than I imagined. Had to watch the key scene in 2x speed. Not sure I can watch the remainder of it after that.

Well filmed like, just a bit too heavy for my liking.

Soundtrack is boss though. One half of Daft Punk.

Re watched Inception, still one of my top 10 films.

Emotional soundtrack, characters you get attached to, great story.

One thing that annoys me, and has created debate on here before: the final scene (I won't name it in case there's a couple of souls out there who still haven't seen it). JUST WHY LEAVE IT HANGING LIKE THAT??? I really want it to work out for him.

Get On Up, I said it way back on this thread ages ago, think its on release now.

The lid who plays James Brown is gonna bag an Oscar for his performance, nailed on.

Vault me on this ;).

Have you actually seen the film though? Review I read yesterday was that the chap is excellent and the film just alright.

I won't be watching as I find the music of Brown are rather boring and samey.

Apparently they just turned horribad fan fiction into a new Terminator movie

There might be Spoilers here, but then again you might be better off reading this so you save yourself some money.

Sarah Connor isn't the innocent she was when Linda Hamilton first sported feathered hair and acid-washed jeans in the role. Nor is she Hamilton's steely zero body-fat warrior in 1991's T2. Rather, the mother of humanity's messiah was orphaned by a Terminator at age 9. Since then, she's been raised by (brace yourself) Schwarzenegger's Terminator—an older T-800 she calls "Pops"—who is programmed to guard rather than to kill. As a result, Sarah is a highly trained antisocial recluse who's great with a sniper rifle but not so skilled at the nuances of human emotion.

Went and saw interstellar, I know nothing about space or space travel so found it quite fascinating.

It wasn't bad but I was hoping it would have been better given that I would like to see more hard sci-fi movies released. I think my big issue was that (and I know with all sci-fi you have to take liberties) for a planet that was on the brink of apocalypse no one really look malnourished (GLORY TO CORN), they all had decent clothes, makeup, vehicles that worked and homes. Yea crops are dying but everything else looks pretty and is growing and sure the dust storms suck, but so does Buffalo right now and that doesn't mean the rapture is coming.

I think the movie would have been a hell of a lot better if the Nolans just stuck with: Hey look! A wormhole that appeared right next to Saturn and we are going there because HOLY F#$%^ING S#$% A F$%^ING WORMHOLE JUST OPENED UP RIGHT NEXT TO F$%^&NG SATURN!!!!!!

The first thing people ask me when I tell them I'm studying in Greece for the semester is "Have you seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding?" which I haven't. Is it really a must-see, guys?

To make you think. Also spoiler:
The spinning top is not his doo-dah...
