Ending was a twist I suppose but who really cares.

Saw 22 Jump Street while flying home on the plane yesterday. Harmlessly watchable but not as funny as the first one. Also saw some film with Phillip Seymour Hoffman who played a German intelligence officer tracking down a suspected Chechnyian terrorist. Well acted but the film didn't really go anywhere. Can't remember the name, that's how memorable it was.

Thought the film ended crap TBH didn't explain anything about the situation, it should have carried on and showed the incident IMO.

Enjoyed it though.

I sort of agree. I knew what happened at the end as I'd read up on it before watching. Maybe it's kind of nice not to show the incident really.

I can see what you saying like, just think it would have made a better ending as there was lots of it in the film anyway but I suppose they didn't want to offend anyone kind of out of respect for him.

Thing is with what happened (trying not to spoil it for those who don't know!) it would be like another hour on the film! It had a massive car chase and stuff!

Really? I'm gonna have to look this up now I'm kinda intrigued now. As you say we should prob leave it here so we don't spoil it for others.
 
Just seen Foxcatcher and what a major disappointment! Heard some good things about it but the film is so slow to get going and then nothing actually really happens. It's not even that good of a story in my opinion. It takes a lot for me to get bored watching a film but I did many times watching this.

Only good thing about it was Steve Carell who was fantastic playing John du Pont but that was it.
