Last Film You Watched

Just watched:

The Boxtrolls

Quite enjoy kids animated movies these days. For me they are the 80's adventure films like The Goonies that we don't get anymore.

Anyway, this one isn't too bad at all. Some odd questions like how the boy learns English are left unanswered, and a few more.

But hey, it's a kids film.

Not bad.

3 Championship Belts out of 5

Talk to me.

What's it about? Who is in it? And stuff?

It's about a young drummer, played by an excellent Miles Teller, who is enrolled at a prestigious music college and wants to drum for the core jazz band. He finds out the teacher, played by the even more excellent JK Simmons, is a nasty snide who likes to torment and psychologically bully his students and a sort of destructive, intense quest for perfection begins. The soundtrack is immense and the two leads are unbelievable, people really need to see it. I can't remember the last time I came out of a cinema feeling like did.

Cool. Sounds good. Just checked out some reviews. All positive.
