Watched Straight Outta Compton yesterday. The first half+ of the movie was brilliant. I'm not really a big fan of hiphop, but it was really great to see how the band got together, the touring scenes and the parties. The second half was a bit less entertaining, but still very good. 8/10

Watched this a few weeks ago, decent film, just felt like the whole NWA story was just crammed in though, if you know what I mean.

Watched Deadpool last night, REALLY enjoyed it.

Defo not suitable for my kids though (11 & 13), they have been trying to blag me to watch it for ages.

Finally got round to seeing 'The Master' last night.

Another bold modern epic from Paul Thomas Anderson, this thinly veiled critique on cults of personality (specifically Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard) resonates with a compelling narrative, left field direction, mesmerising cinematography and powerful performances from Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and a menacing physical turn from Joaquin Phoenix. Great score from Johnny Greenwood as well.
Top film.

I admire the actors and tried to like this movie, I just couldn't. Not sure why though, might have to rewatch it.
