Last Film You Watched

Took my little boy to see Pirates In An Adventure With Scientists. We all loved it- it's very funny. Done by the Aardmans people- Hugh Grant really good as the Pirate Captain. Any kids animation that uses Swords Of A Thousand Men by Tenpole Tudor and London Calling by The Clash is already a cut above the usual Disney type stuff.

Just watched The Damned United again.

I know it's not hard, but easily the best football related film ever.

Great story, and love how true it all is. And it's another reason to hate Leeds.

It's about as close to the perfect film as you can get.

Super 8.

Absolutely loved it.

For sci-fi loving 70s/80s kids I can't imagine how great it must have been.

Hmmm, I haven't seen that yet - I'll give it a go.

For some reason I found myself watching Dog House at 3am recently.

Yes. I watched a Danny Dyer film. In my defense it had Stephen Graham in it and he's amazing. And Emily Booth, who I love obviously.

It was badly wank though.

Not all Danny Dyer films are awful.

The Business is amazing.

seen "Silent House" at the pictures

run of the mill horror with a twist that is telegraphed from the first 5 minutes

this film is supposedly unique in that it is one single continuous camera shot, but this adds nothing

nor is there any discernable reason for the totally unecessary "soft focus" that occurs at various moments throughout

2 outta 5 FFS

don't bother

'Hellraiser' the other night, how tame the days of the video-nasty see compared to a lot of the trash and splatter that has replaced storytelling today.

Saw 4.

Absolutely love the Saw films. After everyone your like :o HOW THE ****?! Very clever. The minging parts are obviously minging but the story and how the films link back to eachother, not nessessarily in chronilogical order, is pretty incredible.

Yeah I love Saw too and I'm up to the 5th one, think they're all godo but have slightly decreased in quality, the first was the best, but all very enjoyable. Will watch all the rest at some point.
