Last Film You Watched

i watched Black Gold last night, was a film set in the middle east in the 30's when the american find oil they try strike a deal with the arab tribes
Mark Strong is in it, famous for UK gangster film rocknrola deffo worth a watch

Watched 'Drive' the other day with the missus, really enjoyed it.

Ahh Drive.

Aesthetically gorgeous, fantastic soundtrack...and about 3 types of genre all trying to be crammed into one film so hard that I sort of don't really know what it's about.

Least threatening gangsters ever, too.

6/10.

Scandalous!

Thought it was quality from start to finish, and can't quite figure out why it was shunned at the oscars, part from the violence. Best film of 2011, hands down.

Wrath of the Titans - After falling asleep watching the first effort, I was going against my intuition to sit through this one. Wrath though is a pretty good film, they've nailed the look of the modern adaptation ancient Greece and I'm spewing to have missed it in 3D on the big screen. The Giant Monster at the end still isn't quite as chilling as 'Nausicca's' Giant Warrior, but well worth the Popcorn.

4 Stars.

Saw it in 3d in the movies Macca, and it didn't add a hell of a lot to it, was alright but they didn't do anything fancy with it. Not a bad flick though.

Welcome back too lid x

Double header last night:

The Muppets : quite possibly the best film I've seen in the last few years. Beautifully pitched, excellently played by the human cast and genuinely hilarious in places. As a 'kid's' movie, it's quite simply perfect. For everyone else it's still brilliant.

21 Jump Street : highly enjoyable, funny in places if a little morally loose. Again Channing Tatum surprised me, showing some range other than 'meathead'. Not great, but worth a watch.
