Last Film You Watched

LA Confidential. Screenplay still wrecks, there's a reason it was one of the first three DVDs I bought. Dear God, is that film tight. Cromwell was robbed.

Context says John Wick is next up to bat. Another killer screenplay. Love it when someone gives great actors stuff to work with. Even Mayhem is good in a bit part.

You're mad, the first two Bale flicks both wreck. I love the first Keaton Batman. Saw it in the theater. Great stuff. It also isn't in Nolan's league. Dude went on an utter tear from Memento to The Dark Knight. Only the Insomnia remake isn't up to snuff, and it's still good.
Somehow have never seen this, need to catch up. Last breath-okay for 90 mins, 6.5 outta ten, woman in the yard -jusy about passable-5, the money-ok 6.1. Thought the alto knights was better than people said, not great or anything but entertaining enough watch -6.7

Took a rewatch of Tron:Legacy last night. Still holds up. When the first one came out, I was a pup but loved it. I watched it again for the first time in decades the other week. It, uh, well it doesn’t hold up. Great concept but the technology was nowhere near where it needed to be. I also rewatched Legacy because there’s another Tron movie coming out later this year that looks cool.
Great visuals and the soundtrack is cool

Watched Survive this afternoon having seen clips on TikTok on the week.
By watched I mean whizzed through the first 15mins or so to understand the premise and then sped through the next 75 mins or so to see how bad it could actually be. So ‘watched’ the whole 90 mins of it in about 15 total.

And it’s absolutely terrible, awful B movie without any redeeming features that could make it a cult type B movie.
The French film industry should hang its head in shame.

This is yet to come out, so I haven’t seen it. But they’re rebooting The Naked Gun, and Liam Neeson is playing the Leslie Nielsen role?!

Seems like a really odd choice.

One of the two good Daniel Craig James Bonds is just starting on itv4, 'Casino Royale'. 'Skyfall' being the obvious other one.

Their link, rather enjoyable villains.

"The kid" currently on Netflix, a western based around Billy the kid, Dane DeHaan, plays the part very well, Ethan Hawke plays the role of Pat Garrett, wouldn't say I'm a fan of Hawke but I can't remember seeing him in a bad role, anyway its never going to be classed as one of the great western movies but it's decent enough to kill 90 minutes
