Im going to watch it Friday and I'm actually looking forward to it .

The Infiltrator - all of the above and more.

It does take a while to get going, but once it starts to knit together it really is a superb film.

One of the those films where ever single cast member plays an integral part of the film.

Loads of British actors too - remember Eli Dingle from Emmerdale ??????

I thought it was dreadful...too much of it was unbelievable and it would have been better as a 3 part series as there was zero depth to the characters.

After all the amazing films of this genre i would have hoped for much better, heck im sure the three of us could have come up with a better movie script with the true story as the centrepiece.

Some of the lines in it totally ruined it for me.

Watched Gone Girl this evening...wow, I've been out with some 'out there' chicks but...

Try having a Japanese girl bouncing up and down naked on your bed, like it was a trampoline...then when you make your move on her she sprints to the kitchen and throws a kettle full of water on you (which she thought was boiling)...then sits down and starts doing her makeup as if nothing happened...

I can relate.

Tbh i watched the original the following day which is an all time classic.

Having done so i'd give the remake a 7/10 but as a stand alone movie its got to be an 8 or even a 9 when compared with every other cowboy movie of the last decade.

My favourite is tombstone with Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday which is, in my opinion up there as one of the best films of all time.


Edit: Some of Chris Pratts one liners are fabulous. One in particular as they enter the village...

That movie is so enjoyable i never tire of watching and so many brilliant lines. Kilmer is so amusing especially the drunken scene with him flipping the cup around

Has anyone scoped out Sicario yet? It's an Incredible film that i found to be highly engrossing while incorporating shrewd socio-political commentary. Also the acting and the visual components are superb.

I like it when he turns up to fight and takes Kurt Russels place when hes meant to be dying in bed.

Brilliant movie especially at the end when everything makes sense about why they have involved the woman...

Watched it last night. Thoroughly disappointing film. Acting was fine, visually very nice, plot was crap. Tried to be far too many things at once and ended up a watered down version of all of them.

Like so many films these days, should've been made as a series to give all the angles covered a proper analysis. Instead it was just a rush job of half-baked ideas which all seemed highly improbable due the constriction of the running time.

Not really. They treat her like poo so it was very clear that they never really wanted her there, and the big reveal was essentially just them overcoming red tape.

Well, without ruining it...id say that + BDT's character evolving.

Too muddy and unclear imo.

As I say, the basis of an amazing TV series or film trilogy was there, but they abridged it far too much to fit it into one film.
