Just saw Manchester by the Sea. Extraordinary film. Great performances all round especially Affleck. You can feel the pain bottling up within him.

Despite the tough subject matter, it is also a very funny film at times.

Frankenstein (2015) - Written and Directed by Bernard Rose, starring Xavier Samuel and Carrie-Ann Moss.
'The film is told from the monster's point of view as he is created, escapes into the modern world and learns about the dark side of humanity.'
Not the normal adaptation of Shelley's original. The acting was good and it was interesting to see the story told from a different viewpoint.

The Cottage (2008) - Written and Directed by Paul Andrew Williams, starring Andy Serkis, Reece Shearsmith and Jennifer Ellison.
'Comedy horror about brothers who kidnap a crime boss's daughter and hold her for ransom in a secluded country cottage.'
Some funny bits, that's it.

Watched a film called "moonlight" heard it was really good but had no idea what it was about, thought at first it was going to be a gangster type film but it ended up being something much more unique and poignant especially in this current climate.

Thought it was a really good film and will hopefully help those in the lgbt community.

Just watched "Logan", probably the best Xmen film, maybe even the best Superhero film.

It deals with some very deep themes, rarely seen in these types of films, huge amounts of violence and Patrick Stewart swearing like a trooper

Watched this myself not knowing what the theme was and it was nothing like i expected,really enjoyed it, Tangerine is a good movie thats actually filmed throughout on a phone worth a watch

Logan was..........wow. Quite speechless. Easily one of the most mature, emotional, gritty, down-to-earth comic book films I've ever seen. Definitely gonna watch it again!
