I dunno, are you being a [Poor language removed]? I didn't call it great. I just gave an example of a time when ebay did take positive action over something that happened. writing it in caps doesn't make it true, just you look more stupid. TBH i'm not actually sure there's any reason for them even to take responsibility, they don't sell anything after all. Yeah, i've had problems. So has Bainsey with play.com. I've had somethings not turn up as quickly as i would like, or go missing in the post - but this was replaced. Oh, and for your information the things i buy on ebay are not 'crap'. Howeevr, if your mother wants to spend £1000 buying 'crap' off someone she doesn't know across the internet then thats her own damn fault. I wouldn't be so dumb as to put that amount of money in the pocket of someone who i didn't know to be reputable or accountable. Oh, and i do go out 'to buy my crap' aswell, but normally i find the shops to full of idiots like you.

ebay has looooooads of scammers on there!
ebay has looooooads of trustworthy people on there!

theres feedback and other things to stop you getting ripped off but the most important tool you can use off ebay to stop yourself getting ripped off is common sense.

never pay by western union or t/t.
never give more than £100 for anything unless they are a power-seller or you can pick it up yourself.
and be aware of import duty if you buy from abroad.

Ive bought many things off ebay, and I have traded on there in the past.

However I HATE ebay, its impossible to have a conversation with any ebay representative, and the charges if you are selling bulk are disgustingly high.
They are a massive corporation who make soooooooooooooo much money for doing soooooooooo little.

Paypal will protect you to a small degree depending on your account and status, but i repeat the most important thing when using ebay is a little common sense.

which i can give you at a buy-it-now price of £49.99 inc free gift(which i will also throw in if the auction reaches £40+)

dont you?

Dylan, and Dan, someone got a 'cool off' recently, there was also the statement that no more petty arguing and dragging the board down with insults and abuse.

the individual quoted above has yet again pursued and insulted another board member.

it appears having been told to cut that behaviour out, it has only had a temporary effect.

Phil, you are a dead set goose.

I said I dont like ebay because you can get ripped off.
Ive been ripped off, for something small, my SISTER (Yes Phil, its in caps; possibly just to let you know im EMPHASISING a word or sentence. If you have bothered to read my post correctly)
You told me I was talking crap about something I know nothing about'

I dont know you from a bar of soap and Im always generally nice to people. If you wanna take that attitude Im gunna tell you to stick your beloved ewank up your arse sideways.

If you love it so much, why dont you marry it!

I don't know what a 'dead set goose' is. As much as i'd like to think it's a compliment i'm guessing it's not. Cool phrase tho. And i did read your post correctly, it seems it is you who has the reading difficulties. If you're so nice then act like it. I was merely defending something that you slated off. I don't love ebay, and i never said that, so stop putting words in my mouth. It's pretty lame when you have to invent things i said in order to have a go at me. There are ways to prevent yourself getting ripped off, ebay do take some responsibility, but you can still get ripped off. Thats life, and it's not just on ebay where that happens. Get over it, grow up and get a life.

no high ground there, but fully understandable.

I'm sorry, who's pursuing who? Strange how it's ok for him to insult me, but not the other way around? Personal grudge mate? Need a "cool off" yourself?

Yet again? I had a brief disagreement with you. And who else? You're the one who keeps bringing it up.

you threw a load of similar abuse at me, and now after the admin told the board to give it a rest, your throwing insults around AGAIN.

maybe tone down your responses so as not to allow a board member like me to point out your folly yet again.

Without wanting to incur any more 'infractions' from the admin, i think you need to pipe down mate. You aren't an admin so let them deal with it, that's what they are there for. I'm not throwing insults around, they're carefully targeted :P It's certainly not folly, and it certainly is pretty hypocritical of you to try and take me to task for it concerning the text in your signature and the fact that you seem to only be attacking me for this even though Mcbain is equally guilty.
