Thanks Mick, depends what i'm painting mate, both of these took about ten days or so each, a few hours painting every day.

I do have some thoughts regarding the old man one.

It seems to me he is deep in thought about something and I think the painting needs some kind of scope around the man to provie something for the looker to think about too.

Unless of course you have zoomed in and there is more to the painting than we can see?

The actual paintings themselves are superb, wish I had a talent like that, very jealous!

He was deep in thought Rob, i never actualy met him ( He was a distant relative, and i painted his portrait from a photo as a favour for another relative ),sadly the man passed away a couple of months ago, my Uncle took the photo when the old man had a bit of a funny turn, he suddenly felt weak and had to sit down for a while, so i guess i at least got his expression right.
