Just like the board out brigade have been called Kopites many hundreds of times.

There's strange people on both sides of the isle
Said this for years - "happy clappers" from one side, "kopites" from the other. I hate, I absolutely hate that aspect. It's insulting to and from both.

Disagree, agree, agree to disagree, have your opinion and share it, but why people have to resort to calling fellow blues names, simply for having a different opinion of something, is beyond me.

Does anyone know if any of the other parties that are supposedly interested in us are Chinese?

This is a small part of the article.

The inevitable question is when a Chinese investor will buy a club in the Premier League. The recent £265 million investment in Manchester City by a state-backed consortium was a pre-emptive strike but it feels inevitable that China will now join the wealth of nations owning clubs in England’s top division.

Chinese state and private investors already have control of Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic and the French club Sochaux and they have a stake in Atletico Madrid.

There are the obvious contenders still in the hands of British businessmen – Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, West Ham, Newcastle – or perhaps it is one of the very elite the Chinese will want. Either way the signs so far suggest this will be another game-changer for English football, as significant as the oil-money in the Premier League during the first decade of the new century.
I'd be happy with that, decent people, the scouse Chinese community's always had a strong Everton preference over the vermin.

I know this might sound daft to us in the west, but Red is a very important colour in China, it's supposed to bring wealth and prosperity. It has similar meanings in other parts of Asia too. Look at what has happened to Cardiff. I don't want to see Everton in a red kit.

I guess that raises an interesting question though about how far are fans happy to see things change, if it could mean success?
Change the colour of the kit?
Change the badge?
Play our home games at the "paddypower.com stadium"?
Change the name of the club?

None of the above thanks

I'd rather stay a poor Everton, playing in
Blue at a crumbling Goodison with any badge
than go down that route.
You buy Everton... You get Everton

I blame Hibbert. In fact, I reckon that if you think about it, he's behind all of this.

The facts are that he hasn't spent any of his wages over the years so he's sitting on a large war chest of funds, he hasn't been playing with the first team while he's securing additional financial backers & new stadium sites, Bill is secretly taking instructions from him & clouding the books to scare off potential investors, and he's held back scoring so that he can ride the crest of a wave of euphoria when he eventually takes over.

Mark my words, Hibberts behind all this!
