What exactly did it say then? The letter wasn't posted. It was read out. But those saying it was a goodbye to staff are making a hell of a giant leap.

I wasn't present at the reading. But from what I heard from someone who was there. It was a letter thanking them all at the club (from the bottom to the top) for their work because he constantly gets told by other clubs that Everton is the best place to visit and he was just thanking them for creating that because he couldn't go for the last while to thank them in person. Then he signed it off with "Goodbye, Blue Bill", and that's what people are going mental about.
but why did they have to hand them back ?? and not talk about it ??
Maybe because they knew some people may try and add two and two together, and come up with five?

I think the fact its actually been done (if it has) is suspect; its not as if the stewarding will stop prior to the season ending or hasnt been in place previously...

'Relegation BOTTLE?' We've no chance unless we sign Alan Cork and a stopper......Any possible takeover must be on hold when we are in danger of being sucked into the relegation bottle.
Wasn't it Augustine who wrote over 1,500 years ago, charity is no substitute for justice withheld ?
