I mean, I reckon there'll be an "announcement in the not too distant future" as well. Do Talksport have vacancies for people willing to state the blindingly obvious or is it a closed shop ?

I think he's one of those rare almost extinct breeds: a red who isn't murderously insane about Everton needing to be 'put in their place'...a typology that fits almost all of the paranoid lunatics they attract.

I don't think he has revealed anything that we didn't already know from the times report. I fancy an announcement is very different to there will definitely be an announcement of a takeover.

We have waited 16 years for one I think we can hold out for another month. This is a major decision hopefully Bill is finally true to his word and sells to the right buyer as he has often promised.

No, I disagree. It's obviously not 'its defo happening, tell all the bluenoses'. But it's a man with a strong association with the two Merseyside clubs acknowledging that there will be soon a pivotal decision on club ownership...which is what I stated in my original post here last night...that the announcement will be imminent, not that the takeover is done.
