Not every kipper member is full of it, some of the members are actually decent blokes beleive or not, but unfortunatly they (we) all treated the same as the idiots.

Not quite sure i have this "kipper mentality" thing though.

I want to point out that I actually like new contributions here, it helps the forum grow and several kipper refugees are sound level headed people. It is the minority who insist on being heard like they were the majority that piss me off.

Actually, we went to a complete kipper skin last night for one night only. We sent out a memo when we sent out the new cover-sheet for the TPS reports.

I guess you didn't get that memo then.

it's bound to happen when there's a massive influx all at once, most it seems have been lurkin' around on here anyway and know how things are done, quite a few as well seem to have been keeping quiet on kipper to avoid abuse as well, it will soon become obvious who the abusive ones are and who's gang they are in when they fall for the "obvious to the rest of us" wind ups that will no doubt expose them. i reckon we could have quite a bit of fun at their expense in the meantime.

From what i know its quite complicated. those who ran the forum esp hoogie were stabbed in the back by those who ran the main site.

There is also accusations that the club were allowed certain priviliges regarding threads on the forum. threads would disapear that never saw the club in a shining light.

I dont really get involved. got enough [Poor language removed] in my own job at the moment. lets just say i think its a shame that a great everton forum, and it was great in its day. has died on its arse for the wrong reason.

thats my last word on it.
 
It goes without saying but I'll say it anyway that anyone (from Kipper, new poster, old timer here, etc...) who abuses another forum member will get the ban hammer quicker than they can say "Moyes Out !!"

There's a really low tolerance for that sort of crap here and our mods are pretty clear about it.

That said, I've found that most all of the people who've come over so far from Kipper have been class acts and fit right in here.
 

There was also talk about the donations.

The donations were introduced because it was being told they would help with the forums common sql errors (or something). The news came from hoogie that those errors could be fixed by just upgrading the forum, they are forum error, not server errors.

Found the vast majority on it sound. got the odd knobhead and it seemed to stick that the forum was all like that. it wasnt.

I left it a few weeks before it crashed anyway because of access at work.
 
We get a few knobheads from time to time also.

No forum is perfect but I've found GOT to be a good one.

Yeeeeeeeah, about that. I'm gonna have to go ahead and ask you come in on Saturday to ban all the annoying kippers. Yeaaaaaaah.

Kipper was always a lot of fun. Especially back in the days of the old forum. Posted quite a lot in that time. About a year ago though, there were to many attention seeking morons starting to post on Kipper. Almost every thread ended in name calling and insults. Sure, it was the minority, but still very annoying.

Only started posting frequently again on there a few months back. Great thing about kipper is (was?) the amount of users on there. Doesn't matter at what time of day you post, there's always a lot of interaction.

Good to see the that administrators of this forum keeping it nice and tidy on here. Think that's something the administrators at Kipper should also aim for. Discussions and arguments great, but starting insults and abuse and you're gone. Still hope, Kipper will be back in a short while, so I can enjoy both forums.:cheers:
