Form at the end of the season (last game aside) was top half. Lost Richie, gained Tarks, gained fit DCL, a summer of frank working with the team and a few additions. To come.

Very much hope I am wrong but if we don't get some real improvements in and fast, people will be looking at the table with 10games gone thinking we are in the brown stuff already. I don’t think the squad is that bad. It doesn’t appear to have much depth up front and in midfield and seems to lack quality in midfield. But on paper the backline looks good, and that’s always a good platform to build upon. That alone might be enough to keep Everton from the relegation zone.
