I did some digging, and here's some pretty interesting stats from the Uruguyan Primera Division:
Luis Suarez: 27 games, 10 goals (all time)
Edinson Cavani: 25 games, 10 goals (all time)
Leandro Rodriguez: 23 games, 9 goals (last season)
Should add that Suarez and Cavani were a couple years younger at the time, but still... not bad.
In fairness he did bring in Rom who has helped finance the rebuild
A random unknown player like Joao Silva and Vellios.
See if he is good enough in two years time.
Martinez did so much damage to the club and our first-team squad, how anyone defends the bloke defies comprehension.
Agreed. People will say he flopped at other clubs but how do we know he wouldn't have been a success when he wasn't given a fair go? Just look a Harry Kane and his uneventful loan spells at lower league clubs and look at him now.Never given a chance
Assume you mean Sociedad?

He was sent on loan to Bentford he played 2 games and was sent back. He was then sent on loan to a Belgian side and cannot even get a game and was sent back.
Now you used Harry Kane as an example to warrant this guy crappiness. He is just crap there is no excuse.
He can't even get a game for our U-23 mind you. He isn't given a fair chance in PL what the!?
tbf he got injured at Brentford.
Probably still crap though!
what if Sunderland don't want him though?Send him to Everton B?
