Led Zeppelin

It all depends on the ears of the listener. For me I'd take Hendrix over them all besides The Beatles. Thats how a guitar should be played (y)

I agree that Hendrix was amazing, but see my Frank Zappa thread. Nobody plays guitar like Frank. A true legend and musician. Hendrix dies too early, and never got to really prove himself.

Led Zep are reforming and going on tour again (without Robert Plant).

I dunno, somethings are better off left be....

As big a fan I am, I don't think that's a good idea.

Frankly, I don't believe it anyway because Page & Plant were obviously the frontmen for that band. You take one of them away (and don't forget, you're missing Bonham already) and you really don't have Led Zeppelin.

IF they ever tour again, it WILL be Page, Plant, Jones, and Bonham's son. You can take that to the bank.

I love Zappa's stuff. You Are What You Is is a great album. Very underated guitarist was he. Does humour belong in music? Course it does. Nanook Rubs It.

I think Hendrix more than proved himself. Though Frank was pretty damn good aswell
As for Led Zep. I like some tunes, but I'm with Rodders as far as my preferences go. Musical preferences that is. Find the 4 hour guitar solos very tiresome. playing it with a violin bow, your teeth or behind your head and all the other pyrotechnics were all ok the first time I saw it but.... Now for something short, truly sweet and totally to the point Check out Bunny Wailer's solo on 'Wait in vain' or Jeff Beck's on 'Lookin' for another pure love' by Stevie Wonder. Sublime stuff

You are What You Is is a classic, Woods.

That's right, remember there is a big difference between
kneeling down and bending over

He's got twenty million dollars
In His heavenly bank account ..
