Olsen has done enough prior to this game to deserve a run in the side. I hope he gets it now.

Brilliant performance first half, put ourselves in a horrid position with their scrappy early goal. Defended brilliantly though and Mina and Godfrey are one majestic pair. Doucoure was top class today too, and I thought Gomes was very good.

MoM, I went for Ben Godfrey, absolutely superb all game and that mad arse run in the first half sealed it.

DCL awesome up front, buys you a break occasionally and scored at a crucial time.
Olsen, a proper goaly, does the simple things well.
Dacoure was fantastic I thought, best I’ve seen him play.
Richy was close to his best again, always gets them snidey free kicks when you need a breather,
The whole team was superb though, effort means everything

...phew, terrific result was that. Chuffed for my man Godfrey, I had no doubt he was a CB playing LB (apologies for mentioning it in every post) and it was critical to get him playing there. Good substitution, though, bringing Keane on to thwart Bamford aerially threat.

Every one of that team contributed, well balanced selection with Sigurdsson playing in that void behind DCL. Such a shame DCL wasn’t clinical enough to finish that opportunity.

Doucoure & Gomes terrific as were Godfrey and Olsen but I thought Mina put in a captains performance and he gets my MoM. Mina/Godfrey, get used to it.

Insipid, apathetic garbage one match and then fully committed, play for the shirt and your teammates, in your face brilliance the next.
