We haven't gone two games in a row without scoring this season.

I was disappointed with our performance in the reverse fixture but still thought we were unfortunate to lose.

From what I've seen of Leeds they are hard working but lack quality, particularly up front. I wouldn't be surprised if we let them have a lot of the ball.

Despite the disappointment of recent results we are still in a healthy position. Hopefully we can start another good run beginning tonight.

Some people are acting like Leeds are world beaters.

Yes they run around a lot and put pressure on teams but are 100% beatable at home -games like this suit this current team more than your Newcastle’s / Rotherham’s and West Ham’s at home.

quietly confident

Olsen
Holgate Mina Keane Godfrey
Gomes Doucoure Hamez
Richarlison DCL Digne

Hamez free to roam. Richarlison getting central and on the end of crosses as much as possible. Let them have the ball, stay solid, and catch them on the counter.

Win. Easy stuff this.

If Holgate and Godfrey are both starting, does that mean Digne drops out - would be a strong reaction to one poor game.

I'd prefer it meant we gave Mina/Keane a rest, Holgate slots in centrally and Godfrey flips out to the right.

I feel like RB is Godfrey's for the taking for the back half of the season. Can be more effective in an attacking sense playing on his preferred foot side.

The main chance we have is that Leeds are weak, defensively, at set pieces. Mina and Keane could create havoc. Leeds do not have a lot of height in their back 4 and the goalkeeper is prone to the odd mistake with high balls into the box.

I'd play Digne in left midfield with Godfrey LB with his pace. Digne's deliveries will cause their defence problems.
