Speaking of whom - he’s prob going to end 4th with the toffees back in 5th. The only saving grace is the way he still approaches games against the ‘big 4/6’

I don't mind when we play generally defensive. But when we just sit far back and just try soak up wave after wave of attacks it becomes anxiety inducing stuff and makes us prone to conceding. Got to launch some counter attacks the seige mentality doesn't work for me.

I don't know if that's a strategy or whether it's just that we haven't got the legs in midfield. Need Richie to be on it for 90 to break out but he doesn't seem capable of it at the moment.

And that's why i wouldn't question Carlo very often, at no stage tonight did i think James should come on. Delighted with that 3 points, apart from the goal a pretty flawless away performance. I honestly didn't feel nervous at all.

Was out so missed the game. Might I hazard a guess that we had a boss first half, everyone had proper chufties and then we made it unnecessarily hard for ourselves second half, culminating in a squeaky bum fest?

In any event I don’t care, boss result. This away form doesn’t half make some of them home results feel like even more of a missed opportunity though.

Let's hope we keep it going. The next two are United and Liverpool.

i did not enjoy that at all in the second half. Decided not to drink then realised why i have to drink,. Now cant drink watching us ever again (until we lose next). had to go and wash up with 15mins left and keep poking my head around the door to check the score. didnt realise i had anxiety issues
