Uh-oh let the fume commence

Wonder if they'll burn out playing that style? Haven't the biggest squad could see them struggling towards the end of the season luckily they'll have done enough points wide to finish midtable but long term they are going to need a bigger squad to go the distance imo

Thought that was the best team I've seen that's come up from the championship. Because they're so dynamic and attack minded, they do lose their positions a bit, and can leak goals, but the play a great style of football. I think it can work, and its showing they can - they have the lowest wages in the prem but are mid table.

Bielsa’s sides have form for burning out. Happened in his first full season at Leeds when they looked promotion certs at Christmas and then blew up like a side full of asthmatics denied their inhalers.

Many said last season could have gone the same way, had lockdown not intervened.

He’s spoken about with such reverence, but his club management record is a bit of a car crash tbh. I like watching them play mind, but the entire philosophy over winning thing, is pure Martinez and brings me out in hives.

If you tune out the nonsense from pundits etc, they are an extremely fun watch as a neutral.

Think last years Sheff Utd club was better. Not really a slight on Leeds and it seems like decades ago given their position now but that SU club was solid.

I kind of recall SU as pretty boring but I only really watched the times they played Everton. They did great though.

they weren't freewheeling attackers but they played the ball on the ground and scored some pretty goals.

Might get to watch us for final game against WBA. Bielsa is staying hopefully, another 4 come in for next season LB, RB , mid f, another striker. Var and offsides need sorting for next season , a visible gap between defender and attacker should be the law. Defenders are getting away with using the tech which to me isn't what football is all about.

With our intent to play attacking football , a mid table finish with the players we have is a brilliant achievement considering injuries to Llorente and Koch for most of season. Bamford has been unbelievable. Dallas Klich and Ayling all 3 playing to their limit all putting in a shift every game.
