It depends on the mentality of our players and if they can cope with the pressure and atmosphere. I'm not sure they will cope well.
Away from home we're ok handling pressure.

The trick will be getting to a point where we have crucial home games and the team rises to the challenge and accepts it.

We were ok in empty stadiums. Today will be different
I'm optimistic that we won't be as mentally fragile this year. We wouldn't have come back last week, last year. Might have sneaked and held on to a draw.
As much as I don't like Benitez, I don't think his teams tend to roll over. He's a bit like Scrappy-do, not particularly pleasant and quite irritating, but is a fighter. And I'm probably being ridiculous about an individual, but I think Townsend has the right kind of attitude that probably permeates through the team

2-0 Leeds. Fear for our bottlers in an away game with a big atmosphere.
It'll only be an atmosphere for the first 20 minutes. Leeds fans will get frustrated if they haven't made a breakthrough by then on the back of getting demolished by United.

Benitez v Leeds only ends up one way.

early season games can go either way sometimes and I just can’t help feel that with a packed out Elland road we really are up against it.

think we may just lose this one but hope the knee jerkers won’t react too much as I think the crowd will play a huge part.
If any of the home fans jump the fence and join in I think Everton will have grounds to protest.

Just depends which Leeds team shows up.

Second season syndrome to kick in
Could well be, but it's only 1 game in.
This being Le Ev, we're more likely to get Second Game Syndrome, but hopefully the squire of caldy can get an other Second Half performance like last week out of them for 90+mins.
I'd like a win obvs but a draw won't be the worst result...unless we're totally bossing it then throw it away in a yet unknown Everton That manner
