Obviously we’re a shambles all on our own for not getting him through sooner but that’s a disgrace from the league if we’re being honest. How does it make sense that registration like that would effect 2 separate match days, it’s not like a club couldn’t sign players on a bank holiday. It should always be 24 hours before a match day, even if you want to count bank holidays for whatever reason then it would be 48 hours before. Asinine decision but it’s not surprising.

People overestimate Maupay. He is a decent player, but he has never been a proper old fashioned number nine. He need to play in a two to be successful. And if we played with two up top, I am sure players such as Gordon and Gray would offer more as well.

People seem to have forgotten how poor Everton usually were away last season. With Richarlison or Calvert-Lewin. If we do not create chances for the striker, it does not really matter who is playing.
