Tactically spot on by Lampard. Good to see McNeil putting a shift in. All playing well except Davies and Myko. Pickford needs to keep the head. Keep it up blues.

Are you like me? I just dont see a firm plan to any of our attacks . It all seems to happen by hope/mistake. I just cant see a method to our play. It's so much hope rather than a strategic plan

It’s cliche mate but I really think it’s a bit of the Allardyce “sort the defence first and the rest will follow” mentality.

Anything we do decent in an attacking sense tends to come from a clearance/long pass following an attack.

McNeil made the run out wide, made himself available in transition, took the pass and played it over to Iwobi while pulling his defender out of position.

Isolates Llorente and opens the lane for Iwobi’s pass to Gordon for the 1v1.

Mykolenko looks our weak link out there, but everybody else putting in a good shift.

He's struggling but I don't think he's had the help on his side like Patterson has in the other. McNeil is constantly on Harrison, while Gordon or Iwobi isnt helping Myko.
