Whats the situation with leeds.. i seem to not have picked it up from the start so dont know whats going on.

i have read about them gettin 15 points docked.. for receiving their share???

whats that about then??

Well its all gone down the shitter in a big way, get over to the beeb and look back on their stories.

My family are from Leeds and its not good.

It could get worse for them. They haven't dealt with the pitch invasion on the last game of the season yet. The game was stopped, players off the pitch and then the funniest thing ever, Leeds fans started fighting with each other. Priceless.
I really really really hate Leeds.

Big reason for their loss of points this time is that the owner declared the club bankrupt to get rid of the huge debts they had.. and shortly afterwards bought the club again so he could continue without having the huge debt to think off.

he played the game, its what he does.

business is nasty, its never been anything but.

leeds will survive, and i feel a little bit sorry for them, yes they have always had 'that element' in the crowd, and more often than not had a similar 'element' in their first eleven/squad.

my point is, a club with the history leeds have deserves to be up there with its peers.

give me leeds before newcastle eveyday of the week, and twice on sundays.

here,here suits.

I agree, its not quite the same without leeds in the PL.

They have to get off to a good start otherwise I think they may get relegated again.

they beat tranmere today in a nasty encounter.

6 bookings in 5 minutes i heard, it was a bit hot and there were players going for blood.

nothing in comparrison with the action in the stands though. so i hear.

I always cheer for Tranmere, so I was disappointed today in their result.

Step-dad is from the Wirral and they were alway his second team......

Upton, Birkenhead. Whitewell (??) Drive, right by the A0527 which ended right there. (The overpass from it went right outside his back garden.

He is a bit younger than you, he was born in '62

I know the area like the back of my hand, our doctors surgery used to be on Ford Road, just down from the library. Used to have a few mates live down that way. As a kid I used to play in the corn fields that used to be there and fish the ponds and the River Fender, sadly the ponds have been filled in and the Fender is now an open sewer, progress ha:angry:

PS as for Leeds, may they rot in hell, vermin and nothing better

From someone at Elland Rd today:

Firstly, in Leeds City Centre, massive disruption, violence and fear. Millwall fans clearly came looking for trouble and the Leeds fans duly obliged them.

When the Millwall buses got to Elland Road, I lost count of the amount of windows that these buses had missing. The Millwall fans got a proper rough ride!!

Inside the ground, the Millwall fans kept chanting to the Leeds fans " Galatasaray and Istanbul". Also to the theme of always look on the bright side of life, they were singing "always look for the turks with a stanley knife!". Disgraceful!

After they went 2-0 down, they started pelting Leeds fans in the South stand with bottles, coins and anything else they could get their hands on. This provoked a reaction from the Leeds fans and all hell broke loose. Saw one copper get jumped by about 6 millwall fans. Both sets of supporters were shocking and this behaviour by these thicko`s spoils it for everyone else, especially those with children.
