Considering they should be hit with a points deduction they should struggle.

Not really bothered by their fans on the whole, I also still remember how great it felt when they pulled off the Prem title those years back, it gave hope for us other teams that feel like we are just here to make up the numbers. Sadly along came the new FFP rules to help make sure that is now less likely than ever to be repeated
Hopefully a big one given their apparent lack of co-operation.

Just need the wheels to fall off Leeds now. Nice one QPR.

Don’t know why everyone is terrified of the promoted clubs as if they’ll be some sort of juggernauts, none of them have looked convincing in the Championship this season. Leicester had an unassailable lead at one point and nearly blew it, Leeds went on a good run but then got battered last night, Southampton started the season dreadfully and have picked back up. Ipswich have done well but got knocked out of the FA Cup by a non league side. Weird that people are making out they’re clearly gonna be better than Sheff Utd, Luton and Burnley, who also got promoted if you remember. They’ll all be down there next season.

Leicester significantly weaker than when they went down and most likely will have a bigger points deduction than any we might get.

Notts Forrest also with a points deduction more than likely. Hopefully some others too from the mid to lower table.

Plus at least one of the other promoted teams has to be worse than us given recent history.

It's pretty rubbish thinking but we should be safe with another season like this one as grim as it has been at times. Also I am hoping for improvements and more performances like the derby so there's dome optimism!

UTFT!

Once we know who else is getting promoted, we need to start a thread along the lines of :

"Which of the promoted clubs are most likely to relegate Everton".

I think they will struggle, points deduction or no.

Their best players have gone….Madison, Tielemans, Harvey Barnes and others.

They will find the PL much harder than even they did the season they went down.
