'Victory for football'
Oh my god.
Without question, in a world of FIFA corruption, billionaire oilers drip feeding clubs, fans obsessed with how many millions are spent in transfers a team of no marks played 442, who wanted it more then anyone, pulled down all their pants.
I guess it depends what you want from the game, for me it gives every fan in the country a pathway to hope, every 14 year old released from a club at 14 hope that they can fulfil a dream, money and globalisation isn't everything. Desire and hunger have won the day.
That for me is a victory for football and what it should stand for, a sporting compitition won on the field by qualities as opposed to the leadger steroided up by oil billions.
