The bookies have list nothing, trust me. Good for business making out that people have beaten the bookies. You watch money going on the likes of Burnley and Sunderland next season

Watch out for hangers on suddenly appearing mate.

Hopefully Leicester stay true to their roots.

They absolutley deserve the title this season.. stuck together, played as a team and have been consistent all through out the season. Also shown that you don't have to buy a title.. a remarkable achivement in modern football. Congrats Leicester. I must also admit, I'm looking forward to watching them in the Champions League next season..

Erm, that's exactly what betting is. Odds are derived according to the amount of money placed. It's nothing to do with what you or I think the chances of an event happening.

Bookmakers may create an opening price to get betting going, but that will be the only calculated figure based on probability.
Roulette in a casino is obviously purely based on probability with the green zero being the bank's edge. However, I agree that when outcomes are less 'predictable' then sentiment drives the odds. Witness how England are usually shortish odds in the UK whereas they aren't in overseas markets.

weird how so many people here begrudge them winning the title, other clubs football forums I've looked at have almost universal praise and appreciation.

Not me. I have applauded them since I watched them dispatch us at Goodisom with clinical efficiency. Fair play to them and Unparalleled in sporting history whichever way you might spin it.

Yep.

Or when prices are adjusted in-play after a major event in a match.

Odds are set as a prediction of likelihood of outcome and can be adjusted by betting volume, not by how "popular" the selection is.

I actually feel unclean for writing that and I've written plenty of muck on this site

Some Leicester blert in the pub, aged 25 or so, shouting "I've waited so long for this" Really? The whole time he has been a Leicester fan he was expecting to win the title. I'll let him have his moment though, the exuberance of youth.

The only Leicester fan I have ever met retired last September, after (I think) twenty years in the RAF and then fifteen years in our job. I can honestly say in all the years I knew him the idea that they would win the league never came up.

8 more to go...

It proves if a team is managed correctly if you have the right mindset of work ethic, and skill, and are solid throughout you do not need to spend massive, they reminded me of Howard Kendals team in the 1980's when from nothing became a formidable team - HK then went on to better that team with such a strong squad that Kante was their heartbeat like Reidy was for us, and Drinkwater was like Bracewell - we were stronger classier than this Leicester team - made up they have won and proved you don't have to buy successful players at stupid prices.
Their Manager was also a great factor been there , and done it made up for them!
They have been everything we have not been this season!
