Mes que un club lad, that's right.

I did hope we show some spirit today, but alas.

Also this "Everton way" that people keep talking about (not protesting, never raising a voice, sitting down and being patted on the head, getting congratulated for 7th place etc.) is probably part of what's keeping us back, but okay.

Not sure why you're taking this thread off topic.

But don't you think you should head back to the proper Everton threads.

Instead of trying to lecture me about being an Evertonian.

The topic was already raised and you yourself included that in what you said, so I should ask you the same I suppose?

You turned the topic from discussion of an Everton fan giving his ticket to some Leicester kids - to that of EFC fans protesting etc and patting on heads.

When there is already about ten threads in the Everton forum about this already.

You're well off the reservation and topic:

Think that is a remarkable bit of sportsmanship.

Typical of Everton Football Club.

Let's get back to topic rather than bickering lads.

I'm disappointed by some of what I've read on here.

The 'Everton Way' is nothing to be ashamed of. It does not mean being happy to lose. Rather, it means showing some class and dignity when we do. Making some fella's kid happy with something he'll remember for the rest of his life is nothing to do with giving in and accepting defeat. It's doing a Good Thing.

If you'd rather sulk, pout and throw your toys out of the pram when we don't win, then have at it. It's the Liverpool Way, after all...
