Leicester City Football Club

The moment I read they haven't been beaten away in 9 months I thought that's them getting beat at Anfield.

Really hard second half of the season coming up for them with away matches. Good luck to them if they can get top 4, that's Everton's problem if a "small club" can do it and we cant.
I on the other hand hope they lose the remainder of their fixtures this season and go down then go down again, that's just about where they belong

It really baffles me when I see so many in here wishing Leicester to fail because otherwise it's another club to have 'overtaken us'. Even if they were to win the title, so what? So did Blackburn, and would anyone now say that they have 'overtaken us' in the grand scheme of things? And would anyone really be commenting 'So Leicester lift the Premiership trophy, and in so doing become another club to overtake Everton'?

There's enough sniping at the money-bags of Chelsea, City etc buying titles - isn't it good for the game, and especially us in the non-oligarch bracket, if Leicester could break their hold on things.

File under 'you can't have it both ways'...

If leicester finish top 4, they'll go and spend loads in the summer.

If they do that then that means they'll be another team who can outbid us in the transfer market and another team we'd be competing for european places and cups with.

It's better for us if every other team in the league loses their best players and doesn't kick on. Leicester going from a team we'd expect to beat to a team we don't is not good for us.

We've been outspent by everyone almost every year for as long as I've been supporting Everton. It would be great to see Leicester win it imo, sour grapes from anyone who says otherwise.

That wouldn't happen mate you see they would not be able to compete with genuine big clubs even those not in champs league(I mean who are Leicester or what is it) also it would be a massive gamble for them, they'd be the Sturm Graz of whatever group they'd be in...........it's all academic because it's not happening

I don't care as long as Leicester end up where they belong, sorry mate I don't share your romantic vision,if Leicester won the league it would be an absolute travesty as they are total dogshyte, hate em

Which is where, exactly? I don't know, I find the idea that there is a natural order to league standings to be a peculiarly kopite brand of thinking. Godspeed Leicester.

Man City,Man Utd, Chelsea are the only three sides where reaching the champs league doesnt affect how much they can spend on players.

Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool have money and are in the group just behind those 3...

Anyone breaking into the top 4 CAN spend big and Leicester's owners are loaded...

Either the status quo remains the same as we develop our squad OR others start getting in on the gravy train...

We should hope for leicester to finish 5th.
