You see my point though. Even if it's a bit mental.

I understand what you're saying. I just don't agree with it.

Plenty of struggling teams go on tears at the back of end of seasons. Martinez' Wigan won 7 out of their last 9 in his penultimate season there. It's not easy but it happens because the teams they're playing are tired and have nothing to play for.

Noone then takes that form into the next year. This is the first time that has happened, which is why it's a shock. Why I rate Ranieri so much mroe than Pearson.

This might be where it gets more difficult for them. Everyone has been waiting for the bubble to burst but now there will be expectations and pressure to perform on them.

They've been playing without pressure just enjoying the ride but I have a feeling the papers will start laying it on thick about what is ahead of them, the very real chance of them winning it.

Time for Ranieri to earn his money to stop them buckling under the pressure or getting over confident.

It is cos they buried that King Richard in Leicester.

Relegation struggle next season.

Unless they find another King Richard under a car park. Then all bets are off.

To come that close and not win it yes

Nobody is arsed in 5 years who came second ffs

Nah, it'd be like fulham when they lost that europa league final. All the fans will just go on about being proud that they got as close as they did. Noone supports leicester to watch them win things.

I mean honestly 17th is a good season for them.

It's not better for Everton though is it?

Arguably could say it is mate, without CL they will struggle to bring in the really top players, Leicester with CL will struggle as well plus no chance on earth they can do as well next season with extra European games to play

There was no chance they'd be top of the league right now either. But they are.

There's just as much chance they'll push on from this as fall from grace.

im happy for ranieri, all the "experts" and bookies had him as the first manager to get the sack and he has them 6 points clear in first haha

He was regarded as a joke in this country despite the fact he had finished second in Italy, Spain and England before - and never with the top2-3 teams at the time in any country as well, very underrated manager
