Honestly, now:I've watched a different game to you.
9 shots inside 20 mins
Their keeper MOM
Fighting like they did not under Lampard
Deserved to win
That was anything but abysmal. It's in our hands - play like that in each of the next 4 games and we are anything but done.
I agree they aren't going to get much in-game help from Dyche, though.
But if we could score we would have had 5 tonight. Leicester are brutal at the back. We only scored one from open play and we’re gifted a penalty. We Can't Score™ chorus, please take note: Everton scored twice tonight.
We should of had 3/4 minimumBut if we could score we would have had 5 tonight. Leicester are brutal at the back. We only scored one from open play and we’re gifted a penalty.
We’d have won tonight if we could score
This season is that tight at the bottom 32/33 points could stay up.The lowest points ever needed for safety was 34 points (West Brom in 2013/14). We still need 5 to get to that level.

We probably need at least 6.
Hard to see us getting anything against Brighton away (chasing European places) and Man City (chasing the title). Wolves away will be tough but we can get something there. Have to beat Bournemouth at home on last day.
Feels more like a wasted opportunity to me.Feels like a loss, can't lie.
Fair points and well made.Honestly, now:
How many times already under Dyche have we had the “if we play like that in our remaining games…” reaction?
We deserved to win, but we didn’t. Just like Spurs, Forest, arguably Palace, etc.
In the short time he’s been here, the “drawing games we should have won” thing has already happened too often for it to be pure bad luck. Crunch time comes in these games and he freezes. Again, this is the man who, in the absence of any tactical sophistication or anything else that might get us playing good football, is supposed to bring the blood and thunder.
Your point is actually an excellent one - First 20 mins we had a fire under us. What about the last 20? Created a few chances, absolutely; what chance we finish at least one of those with Gray and/or even Simms on the pitch? The potential upside far outweighs any realistic downside and yet he is STILL too scared to make a move.
If you’re a manager who has been brought in to firefight a relegation scenario the one thing you categorically cannot be is meek. That’s exactly what he is. Didn’t want him before, gave him a chance, but from what I’ve seen I don’t want him anywhere near us next year regardless of what league we’re in.
Sorry for the rant. Didn’t intend it to go that way when I started replying!!
Forest away was easierFeels more like a wasted opportunity to me.
I'd have taken the point at 2-1 but realistically that was our easiest shot at 3 points for the remainder of the season.
